Mirrors and trigger sensors for ID code readers

Mirrors and sensors

The hardware that surrounds a conveyor reading station. Mirrors fold the reader field of view onto the sides of a box, so a single reader covers both the left and the right face instead of two. The ID7000 mirror units stretch a line scan reader field across the belt to 550, 850 or 1150 mm. The retroreflective sensor tells the reader to capture exactly when the box enters the frame: without it the reader shoots blindly and misses more codes.

FAQ

What determines the width of an ID7000 mirror unit?

Choose the unit according to the line-scan field that must be stretched across the belt. The listed options are MV-ID7000-550mm-B, MV-ID7000-850mm-B and MV-ID7000-1150mm-B, corresponding to 550, 850 and 1150 mm.

How do the two separate side-view mirrors differ?

Both are intended to read codes on the left and right sides. Their physical sizes differ: one mirror is 700 × 400 × 6 mm and the other is 1000 × 400 × 6 mm. Each size is accompanied by its own correspondingly named bracket.

Which electrical details matter for the trigger sensor?

The E3Z-R61 is a retroreflective photoelectric sensor with a 4 m cable. Its supply is 12–24 V and its output is NPN NO/NC. Check these three points against the capture-control arrangement before selecting the sensor and its mounting parts.

Are the two trigger mounting brackets interchangeable?

They serve different sides of the trigger arrangement. Mounting part 190119506 is the bracket for the E3Z sensor, while mounting part 190119507 is the bracket for the E3Z reflector. Select each bracket by its stated role.

Which readers are named for these mirror and sensor accessories?

The compatible equipment list names ID6000 and ID7000. The ID7000 designation also appears on the 550, 850 and 1150 mm mirror units, while the separate side-view mirrors and the E3Z-R61 trigger form the other accessory branches.
