Fast mono fiber scanning with 2-TDI
Mono 4096 × 2 acquisition at 195 kHz in 1-Line mode is the core position of MV-CL042-91FM. Its CMOS line uses 7 × 7 µm pixels and can switch to 2-TDI at 100 kHz. Image data passes through an LC fiber connector, exposure covers 3 µs to 10 ms, and selectable gain steps of 1.0×, 1.4×, 1.6×, 2.4× and 3.2× provide adjustment for the optical setup.
The high 1-Line rate supports moving-surface inspection where travel-direction sampling is the limiting factor, while 2-TDI offers a different acquisition arrangement at the same 4096-pixel line length. The 12-pin P10 connection combines power with four configurable I/O lines and supports single-ended or differential timing. This allows fiber data transport to remain separate from encoder or machine-control signals.
MV-CL042-91FC shares the LC fiber link, 4096 × 2 geometry and 7 µm pitch, but records color and reaches 100 kHz rather than 195 kHz. MV-CL042-91CM-V2 reaches the same 195 kHz mono ceiling through 80-bit Camera Link in a shorter 36.9 mm body.
