Four-channel acquisition role

Four DIN 1.0/2.3 camera inputs place MV-GX1004 in multi-camera CXP-6 acquisition. Link rates from 1.25 through 6.25 Gbit/s are accepted on each connection, and 4 GB of DDR3-RAM buffers the incoming data. The board transfers through PCI-E gen2 × 8 at 3900 MB/s maximum and 3350 MB/s sustained bandwidth, with Mono and Bayer depths up to 16 bits plus RGB 8.

A four-view inspection cell can route its coaxial camera feeds to one host board and use the available opto-isolated, RX422, TX422 or TTL connections for machine timing. Eleven additional lines support configurable single-ended or differential I/O and frame-grabber cascading. Each CXP channel can provide as much as 13 W at 24 V DC over PoCXP, keeping eligible camera power on the same cable as acquisition data.

MV-GX1004 is the four-port counterpart to MV-GX1002: sustained bandwidth remains 3350 MB/s, while camera count and DDR3 memory double from two and 2 GB to four and 4 GB. MV-GX1104 preserves four CXP-6 ports and 4 GB but uses DDR4 and PCI-E gen3 × 4, with fewer enumerated I/O groups. For twice the host bandwidth and eight inputs, MV-GX1008 provides 6700 MB/s sustained transfer over PCI-E gen3 × 8.
