Compact fixed reading and interfaces

A 1280 × 1024 mono CMOS global-shutter sensor gives MV-ID2013EM a compact fixed-reader profile at 30 codes/sec. The 1/4-inch sensor uses 2.7 µm pixels, runs at up to 50 fps and supports exposure from 60 µs to 0.6 sec. Network versions provide Fast Ethernet at 100 Mbit/s, RS-232 and a DC terminal, while the 4.7 mm USB version uses USB 2.0.

Global exposure and the 50 fps ceiling support code capture as labels move through a fixed view. The reader handles common 1D symbols plus QR Code and Data Matrix, with a green LED aiming system and separate POWER and OK/NG indicators. A side button can trigger the device; network DB15 versions also expose two inputs, two outputs and one RS-232 channel for machine coordination.

MV-ID2013EM is the horizontal 1280 × 1024 member of the EM pair; MV-ID2013EMI rotates the format to 1024 × 1280 and adds MicroQR, AZTEC, HanXin and PDF417. MV-ID2013M keeps 1280 × 1024 but increases reading speed to 45 codes/sec, frame rate to 60 fps and protection from IP54 to IP65. MV-ID2013XM shares 1280 × 1024 and 2.7 µm pixels but lists four red LEDs.
