A portrait-oriented 1024 × 1280 image separates MV-ID2013EMI from the horizontal readers around it. Its mono 1/4-inch CMOS global-shutter sensor uses 2.7 µm × 2.7 µm pixels, reaches 50 fps and decodes up to 30 codes/sec. Exposure spans 60 µs to 6000 µs, and interface variants provide either Fast Ethernet with RS-232 or USB 2.0.
The taller frame suits fixed stations where a label or group of codes occupies a narrow vertical region while global exposure controls geometric skew from motion. MV-ID2016M reaches 1408 × 1024 and 68 codes/sec in its 6.72 mm configuration for faster horizontal coverage.
