Applications and positioning
A 1280 × 1024 monochrome CMOS imager, global shutter and 60 fps acquisition give MV-ID3013PM a compact imaging base for codes that move through a fixed reading station. The reader decodes as many as 84 codes/sec and sends results over Fast Ethernet. Its 1/2.7-inch sensor has 4 µm pixels, while exposure extends from 35 µs to 1 sec for triggered work across changing light levels.
On packaging and material-handling lines, the global shutter limits geometric skew as labels cross the view, and the three non-isolated inputs can accept sensors or line triggers. Three non-isolated outputs and RS-232 support handshaking with a controller. Built-in white light, mechanical autofocus on the M12 mount and the half-polarized front cover make this a self-contained station for QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF 417 and the listed 1D codes.
Within the lower-resolution readers, MV-ID3016PM keeps the same 84 codes/sec and 60 fps but moves to 1408 × 1024 with 3.45 µm pixels; choose it when extra horizontal sampling matters. MV-ID3050PM reaches 2432 × 2048, but its limits fall to 60 codes/sec and 50 fps. MV-ID3013PM therefore suits the smaller image field when throughput takes priority over added pixel count.

Selection and applications
Moving 1D and 2D code capture. Fast Ethernet result transfer. Triggered packaging-line verification.
Minimum kit: Use the MV-ID3013PM reader with an M12-mount lens, a Fast Ethernet cable, a 17-pin M12 power and I/O lead, and a 24 VDC supply.
Nearby in the range: MV-ID3016PM — Prefer it for 1408 × 1024 sampling at the same 84 codes/sec limit.; MV-ID3050PM — Prefer it when 2432 × 2048 resolution matters more than the 60 codes/sec ceiling..

FAQ
How does the global shutter help MV-ID3013PM on a moving line?
The CMOS sensor exposes the 1280 × 1024 frame with a global shutter at up to 60 fps. That simultaneous capture limits shape distortion when a printed code moves through the field, while the decoder is rated for as many as 84 codes/sec.
What power and I/O connections are required for MV-ID3013PM?
Supply the reader with 24 VDC; consumption is approximately 20 W with the light source enabled. A 17-pin M12 connector carries power and I/O, providing three non-isolated inputs, three non-isolated outputs, one RS-232 input and one RS-232 output.
Which optics and illumination options belong with MV-ID3013PM?
The reader uses an M12 mount with mechanical autofocus. White illumination and a half-polarized front cover are standard, while red, blue or IR light and polarized or transparent covers allow the optical arrangement to be adapted to the code surface.
Can MV-ID3013PM exchange results directly with a line controller?
Fast Ethernet carries reader data, and the supported protocols include TCP Client, TCP Server, Serial, FTP, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, MELSEC, ModBus, Fins and SLMP. The discrete lines and RS-232 channel provide additional trigger and result paths.
What environment can the MV-ID3013PM housing operate in?
The operating range is 0 °C to 50 °C with 20% to 95% RH, non-condensing. The housing is rated IP67 when the waterproof lens cap is installed correctly, and the storage range extends from -30 °C to 70 °C.
