Resolution and line integration

A 2560 × 2048 monochrome frame, global shutter and 90 codes/sec decoder place MV-ID5050M between the faster lower-resolution reader and the denser rolling-shutter model. Its 1/1.7-inch CMOS sensor has 3.2 µm pixels and acquires at up to 40 fps. Exposure spans 60 µs to 1 sec, and Gigabit Ethernet at 1000 Mbit/s carries data to the host or controller.

The global exposure is suited to labels crossing a fixed trigger point, while mechanical autofocus on the M12 mount accommodates changes in working distance. White light is standard and red, blue or IR is optional. A half-polarization cap is fitted by default, helping manage reflections; transparent and full-polarization caps provide two other front treatments for different printed or direct-marked surfaces.

MV-ID5030M runs faster at 60 fps but records 2048 × 1536, with the same 90 codes/sec limit. MV-ID5060M increases sampling to 3072 × 2048, reduces acquisition to 30 fps and uses a rolling shutter. MV-ID5050M is the middle global-shutter option: choose it when 2560 × 2048 is needed without moving to the lower frame rate and motion behavior of MV-ID5060M.
