Bluetooth mobility and USB handoff

Bluetooth BT 5.1 and BLE free MV-IDH2000B from a continuous host cable while retaining CMOS reading of common 1D, 2D and PDF417 symbols. Its 2700 mAh battery supports 12 h of interval scanning once every 2 seconds, with an 80 m open-range link. Optical choices pair 3.1 mm or 4.9 mm focal lengths with orange LED or cross-laser aiming.

The handheld is suited to code capture around shelving, large workbenches or objects that cannot be brought to a fixed station. LED, buzzer and vibration feedback confirm each result locally. The smart base passes data through USB 2.0 Type B or Type A and charges from 5 V DC, allowing the operator to return the reader to a defined docking point between rounds.

MV-IDH2000B provides Bluetooth mobility where MV-IDH2000 uses a direct USB 2.0 cable. MV-IDH2000RF offers the same 80 m open-range figure and 12 h interval endurance through a 2.4 G link instead. MV-IDH2000PB retains Bluetooth BT 5.1 but lists 10 h endurance and explicitly adds GS1-128, GS1-QR and GS1-Data Matrix formats.
