Wired long-reach code capture

A 1280 × 800 CMOS imager and selectable long-reach views define the wired MV-IDH7000P. The 10ER/12RN variant uses an 18° × 10° view with point-laser aiming, while the 10NR/07RN choice uses 31° × 20° and cross-laser aiming. White direct and red diffuse LEDs illuminate Code 39, Code 128, QR Code, Data Matrix, MicroQR, Aztec, Han Xin and PDF417 among the listed formats.

Fast Ethernet at 100 Mbit/s with RS-232 and a DC terminal supports a networked manual station; a USB 2.0 variant also retains RS-232 and the DC terminal. Selected 10NR/07RN/LP versions accept PoE, reducing the number of separate feeds at the work position. IP65 protection, a 2.0 m drop rating and a –10 °C to 50 °C working band suit code checks around handling and production equipment.

MV-IDH7000P is the direct-cable counterpart to MV-IDH7000B, removing Bluetooth and the charging base while retaining IP65 and optical choices in the family. MV-IDH3000 offers a wider 40° × 34° view, IP52 and close reading ranges for 3 mil and 5 mil codes. MV-IDH9000 raises resolution to 1280 × 1024 and protection to IP67, and adds a telephoto 10.4° × 8.3° option for a different long-range geometry.

Overview

A shop-floor handheld reader: IP65, 2 m drop and interchangeable optics for distance — from close-up reading of fine marking to a code on a pallet several metres away. The sensor is 1280 × 800: resolution is no higher than in the entry series — this line differs by optics, protection and lighting.

The configuration is set by three segments of the part number: sensor and range, lighting, interface. Tell us what you read and from what distance and we will match the part number.

Available versions

One device, different revisions. We ship the current one by default; if a specific revision is already installed on your line, name it in the request and we will match it.

FAQ

How do MV-IDH7000P view and aiming variants differ?

The 10ER/12RN/L configuration has an 18° × 10° view and point-laser aim. The 10NR/07RN/L configuration uses a 31° × 20° view and cross-laser aim, changing scene coverage while retaining the handheld form.

Which Ethernet protocols are listed for MV-IDH7000P?

The Ethernet variant lists SmartSDK, TCP Client, TCP Server, FTP, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, UDP, Serial, FINS and Melsec/SLMP. Its physical connections are Fast Ethernet, RS-232 and a DC terminal.

Can an MV-IDH7000P station use USB instead of Ethernet?

Yes. The USB variant provides USB 2.0, a DC terminal and RS-232, with SmartSDK and USB HID/CDC communication. It can use 5 V DC from USB or 12 V DC through the terminal.

Is a PoE-powered MV-IDH7000P configuration documented?

The 10NR/07RN/LP entry lists a 12 V DC supply and PoE power supply. This version allows network and power planning around the PoE path while other versions use 12 V DC or USB 5 V DC.

What physical endurance is stated for the MV-IDH7000P?

The reader is IP65 and rated for a 2.0 m drop. It operates from –10 °C to 50 °C and 20% RH to 95% RH without condensation. The 73.4 mm × 104 mm × 229.5 mm body weighs about 460 g.
