Zero-distance reading and protection
Zero-distance reading, dual-view optics and IP67 protection define the wired MV-IDH9000. Its 1280 × 1024 CMOS imager reads a 10 mil Code 128 from 0 mm to 250 mm and a 5 mil Data Matrix from 5 mm to 79 mm. The 13HHD/16RP/U variant combines a 43.6° × 35.5° wide view with a 10.4° × 8.3° telephoto view and red-laser plus green-LED aiming.
The ability to read several code sizes from 0 mm supports checks where the reader may touch or nearly touch a label, while the telephoto option addresses a narrow distant view. USB 2.0 and a DC terminal serve one interface branch; Fast Ethernet at 100 Mbit/s, RS-232 and a DC terminal serve another. A 0.96 inch OLED, LED, buzzer and vibration provide local status at the workstation.
MV-IDH9000 is the wired member of the protected upper range. MV-IDH9000B preserves the 1280 × 1024 format and reading distances but adds Bluetooth BT 5.0, a 4650 mAh battery and smart bases. MV-IDH7000P is also wired but uses 1280 × 800 imaging, IP65 and a 2.0 m drop rating rather than IP67 and 2.5 m. MV-IDH5000P offers a global-shutter mono sensor where motion capture is the deciding requirement.
Overview
The top handheld reader for direct part marking: two optical paths in one body for ultra-small codes, four lighting modes, an OLED screen, IP67, a 2.5 m drop rating and 20,000 tumbles. It goes where the code is dot-peened into metal, sits on a curved surface and defeats everything else.
The configuration is set by three segments of the part number: sensor and range, lighting, interface. Tell us what you read and from what distance and we will match the part number.
