Applications and hardware context

Local control with a 10.1-inch capacitive screen is the central role of VT2000. The panel PC combines a 1280 × 800 display with 10-point touch, an Intel Celeron J-series CPU, 8 GB of memory and 128 GB SSD storage, with a 2 TB HDD included in one storage configuration. Four GigE, two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports give the station several routes for image-device and peripheral traffic.

At a machine station, the touch panel can host setup and result screens while seven opto-isolated inputs and seven opto-isolated outputs exchange discrete states. Two RS-232 ports can be switched to RS-485 or RS-422 for serial equipment. The 255 × 170 × 63 mm housing and approximately 2 kg mass define the mechanical allocation, and HDMI provides a 1920 × 1080 output at 60 Hz for an additional display.

VT2000 and MV-VT2000-128G40-NN share the declared 10.1-inch screen, 1280 × 800 resolution, four GigE connections and typical 30 W load. MV-VT3000 instead provides a 15.6-inch 1920 × 1080 display, replaces the mixed USB set with four USB 3.0 ports, and lists 120 W typical consumption. Keep VT2000 for the smaller touch station and mixed legacy/current USB connectivity; move to MV-VT3000 for the larger display area.

FAQ

What network and USB capacity does the VT2000 station provide?

VT2000 has four GigE interfaces, two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. That combination separates several Ethernet-connected devices from local USB peripherals while retaining both USB generations in the same panel computer.

How are machine states exchanged through the VT2000 panel PC?

Seven opto-isolated inputs and seven opto-isolated outputs are listed for discrete machine signals. The serial section adds two RS-232 channels that support switching to RS-485 and RS-422, providing another connection type for controllers or line devices.

What display arrangement is supported by the VT2000 hardware?

The integrated screen measures 10.1 inches, displays 1280 × 800 pixels and supports up to 10 capacitive touch points. A separate HDMI connection can output 1920 × 1080 at 60 Hz when the workstation layout calls for another viewing surface.

How should power and cabinet temperature be planned for VT2000?

VT2000 operates from 24 V DC and has a typical power figure of 30 W. A conservative cabinet design can use the listed 0 °C to 45 °C working interval, together with the −30 °C to 70 °C storage range and non-condensing humidity limits.

What distinguishes VT2000 from MV-VT3000 for operator use?

VT2000 uses a 10.1-inch 1280 × 800 panel and mixed USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 connections. MV-VT3000 expands the display to 15.6 inches at 1920 × 1080 and provides four USB 3.0 ports; its typical power figure is 120 W rather than 30 W.
