Color images at 3072 × 2048 and 42.7 fps make MV-CE060-10UC a mid-resolution USB camera for inspections that use both spatial and chromatic information. The Sony IMX178 has a 1/1.8-inch format and a stated 71.3 dB dynamic range. USB3.0 transfers the images and remains compatible with USB2.0.
Color-mark presence, assembly differentiation and surface-feature checks can use the full image while repeated frames follow a moderately paced sequence. USB3.0 can power the 29 mm × 29 mm × 30 mm camera body directly. For discrete machine communication, the 6-pin Hirose connector provides one isolated input, one isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated I/O.
