Hikrobot MV-CH120-60Y1M-NN V2.0

Compact mono CXP role

Mono 4096 × 3072 at 80 fps is delivered through a Micro-BNC CoaXPress interface in MV-CH120-60Y1M-NN V2.0. The 12.6 MP Stacked BSI CMOS sensor has a 1.1-inch format, 3.45 µm pixels and a global shutter. Its C-mount body is only 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm, weighs about 90 g and needs neither a fan nor a heat sink. Dynamic range is 54.4 dB, with gain adjustable from 0 dB to 24 dB.

Mono intensity data and simultaneous exposure support high-rate dimensional checks, alignment and surface-defect detection. At the short end, 20 µs exposure limits the travel recorded in one frame; settings extend to 10 sec. A P7 input can accept the hardware trigger, while an isolated output and bidirectional line coordinate other machine events. The CoaXPress path supports PoCXP, or the camera can be supplied with 12 VDC to 24 VDC. Typical consumption is 3 W at 12 VDC.

The matching colour model MV-CH120-60Y1C-NN V2.0 retains the same 80 fps CoaXPress architecture but outputs Bayer GB 8. MV-CH120-60TM-C-NF also records mono 4096 × 3072 at 80 fps, changing transport to 10 Gigabit Ethernet and using a fan-cooled 50 mm × 45 mm × 68.6 mm enclosure. MV-CH120-90Y1M-NN keeps Micro-BNC CoaXPress and C-mount but moves to a Gpixel GMAX3412 at 93.9 fps.

Selection and applications

80 fps mono dimensional inspection. Compact PoCXP machine integration. Triggered 4096 × 3072 surface analysis.

Minimum kit: MV-CH120-60Y1M-NN V2.0, a C-mount lens, a Micro-BNC CoaXPress cable and PoCXP or a 12 VDC to 24 VDC supply make up the basic system.

Nearby in the range: MV-CH120-60Y1C-NN V2.0 — Choose it when the 80 fps frame must provide Bayer GB 8 colour.; MV-CH120-90Y1M-NN — Choose it for 93.9 fps Mono 8 over Micro-BNC CoaXPress..

FAQ

What mono stream crosses the Micro-BNC CoaXPress link?

The camera outputs 4096 × 3072 Mono 8 at up to 80 fps. Its source is a 1.1-inch Stacked BSI sensor with 3.45 µm × 3.45 µm pixels and a global shutter.

What are the two supported power routes for this CXP camera?

MV-CH120-60Y1M-NN V2.0 supports PoCXP and also accepts 12 VDC to 24 VDC externally. Typical consumption is 3 W at 12 VDC, allowing either route to be designed around the receiving hardware.

Does the compact enclosure need active or finned cooling?

No fan or heat sink is specified for the 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm body. The camera weighs approximately 90 g, has IP40 protection after correct installation and works from 0 °C to 50 °C.

How are rapid exposures synchronized with the machine?

The global-shutter exposure range begins at 20 µs and extends to 10 sec. A 6-pin P7 connector provides an opto-isolated input, opto-isolated output and bidirectional non-isolated line.

When does MV-CH120-90Y1M-NN add useful frame-rate headroom?

That model uses the same Micro-BNC CoaXPress connection, C-mount and 4096 × 3072 Mono 8 format, but its Gpixel GMAX3412 reaches 93.9 fps instead of 80 fps.
