Applications and neighbours

Full-resolution color at 150 fps is the central capability of MV-CH250-90YC-C-NN V2.0. The 26.2 MP Gpixel GMAX0505 uses a global shutter to capture 5120 × 5120 images and transfers them over CoaXPress with micro-BNC connections. This version combines C-mount optics with a 60 mm × 60 mm × 59 mm enclosure and passive cooling.

The camera can follow colored parts, registration patterns, or material features through a fast process while retaining a dense square image at every observation. UltraShort exposure reaches 3 μs for strobed motion arrest, and standard exposure extends to 10 sec. CXP-0 and CXP-1 support PoCXP; when separate power is used, the input spans 12–24 V DC and typical consumption is 10 W at 12 V DC.

MV-CH250-90YC-M58S-NN V2.0 preserves color, 150 fps, micro-BNC, and passive cooling but changes the mount to M58 × 0.75. MV-CH250-90YM-C-NN V2.0 is the C-mount monochrome counterpart at 150 fps. MV-CH250-90Y1C-NN reduces color speed to 41.3 fps and places the sensor in a much smaller 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm passive body.

Selection and applications

High-speed color part tracking. Rapid print registration inspection. Dense color surface analysis.

Minimum kit: The imaging chain needs the camera, a C-mount lens for the 1.1-inch sensor, micro-BNC CoaXPress cabling and a host interface, plus PoCXP on CXP-0 or CXP-1 or a 12–24 V DC supply.

Nearby in the range: MV-CH250-90YC-M58S-NN V2.0 — Prefer it for the same 150 fps color stream with an M58 × 0.75 mount.; MV-CH250-90YM-C-NN V2.0 — Prefer it for Mono 8 at 150 fps with the same C-mount body.; MV-CH250-90Y1C-NN — Prefer it for 41.3 fps color in a 29 mm × 29 mm passive enclosure..

FAQ

What color rate is available from MV-CH250-90YC-C-NN V2.0?

The camera captures 5120 × 5120 color images at up to 150 fps. Its Gpixel GMAX0505 is a 26.2 MP global-shutter CMOS sensor with 2.5 µm pixels, providing simultaneous exposure at the full square resolution.

How short can exposure be at the 150 fps operating point?

UltraShort mode spans 3 μs to 8 μs, while standard mode spans 10 μs to 10 sec. With the global shutter, the short settings can be synchronized to controlled illumination for capture of rapidly moving color features.

Which CoaXPress channels support power on this version?

Both CXP-0 and CXP-1 support PoCXP. The camera can alternatively use an external 12 V DC to 24 V DC supply and typically draws 10 W at 12 V DC. The image interface uses micro-BNC connections.

What control I/O accompanies the high-rate image interface?

A 12-pin P10 connector provides one isolated input, one isolated output, one bidirectional non-isolated line, and one RS-232 channel. These points support trigger, status, and serial integration beside the CoaXPress data path.

What C-mount sensor coverage and cooling should be planned?

The lens must cover the 1.1-inch sensor through a C-mount connection and resolve its 2.5 µm pixels. The 60 mm × 60 mm × 59 mm enclosure is listed without fan or heat sink; optional cooling fins are reflected in the dimensions note.
