Camera Link color imaging at 4K
Color acquisition over a 4096 × 2 CMOS line and a configurable Camera Link connection defines MV-CL042-91CC. The 7 µm pixel array can operate at 40 kHz in Base, at 20 kHz or 40 kHz in Base/Medium configurations, and at 40 kHz, 80 kHz or 100 kHz across Base/Medium/Full configurations. An SDR connector carries the camera data, with USB reserved for firmware updates.
This layout addresses continuous color inspection where the frame grabber is already built around Camera Link and the transport speed must be matched to the acquisition configuration. The 4096-pixel line provides twice the cross-web sampling count of the 2048-pixel color models. An M42*1 optical interface with a 12 mm back focal length can accept F-mount, C-mount or other lens types through a suitable adapter.
MV-CL042-91CM uses the same 4096 × 2 geometry and housing but captures monochrome output at up to 100 kHz. MV-CL042-91CM-V2 raises the mono Full rate to 162 kHz and provides a 195 kHz 80-bit mode. For a color camera with the same line geometry but a different link, MV-CL042-91FC reaches 98 kHz in RGB 8/BGR 8 over an LC fiber connector; choose between them according to the installed receiver and required color format.
