Fast wide color imaging over USB
Color output at 2048 × 1200 and 150.2 fps makes MV-CU020-90UC the high-rate GMAX4002 variant. The 1/1.7-inch CMOS sensor uses 4 µm pixels, a global shutter and Bayer GB 8 output through USB 3.0. Its 66.9 dB dynamic range accompanies a 4 µs–10 sec exposure interval and 0–11.1 dB gain range.
Fast color classification, orientation and assembly-state inspection on moving parts follow from the frame rate, color response and simultaneous exposure. USB can supply power to the camera, whose typical draw is 2.2 W at 5 V DC. A 6-pin P7 connector provides an isolated input, isolated output and bidirectional non-isolated I/O for coordinating image timing with the machine.
MV-CU020-90GM uses the same 2048 × 1200 GMAX4002 and 4 µm pixels but changes to Mono 8 GigE at 49 fps. MV-CU013-80UC is faster at 240.4 fps but reduces the image to 1280 × 1024 on a 1/2.7-inch sensor. MV-CU050-90UC increases resolution to 2600 × 2160 but runs at 59.8 fps. Choose 90UC when wide 2.5 MP color and 150.2 fps are needed from a USB camera.

Selection and applications
Fast wide-area color classification. Moving assembly-state inspection. USB-triggered orientation checks.
Minimum kit: Pair the camera with a C-mount lens covering 1/1.7 inch and a USB 3.0 cable supplying 5 V DC, or provide a separate 9–24 V DC feed.
Nearby in the range: MV-CU020-90GM — Prefer it for Mono 8 on the same GMAX4002 through Gigabit Ethernet at 49 fps.; MV-CU013-80UC — Prefer it when 240.4 fps matters more than the reduction to 1280 × 1024.; MV-CU050-90UC — Prefer it for 2600 × 2160 color when 59.8 fps is sufficient..

FAQ
What full-resolution color rate does MV-CU020-90UC reach?
The camera records 2048 × 1200 Bayer GB 8 at up to 150.2 fps. Its GMAX4002 CMOS sensor uses a global shutter, so the wide color frame shares exposure timing across moving subjects.
How short can exposure be for rapidly moving color targets?
Exposure begins at 4 µs and extends to 10 sec. Combined with the global shutter and 150.2 fps maximum, the short setting supports blur control under adequate lighting; gain is adjustable from 0 dB to 11.1 dB.
Can the MV-CU020-90UC receive power through its USB link?
USB power is supported, with typical consumption of 2.2 W at 5 V DC. The camera also accepts 9–24 V DC. Its data path is USB 3.0 with support for the earlier USB interface, providing two listed power arrangements.
Which lens must cover the 1/1.7-inch GMAX4002 format?
The camera uses C-mount. Select a lens with an image circle covering 1/1.7 inch and resolving the needed detail across 2048 × 1200. The 4 µm pixel pitch helps set the required magnification and object sampling.
What housing and machine-I/O details apply to 90UC?
The 80 g body is 29 mm × 29 mm × 30 mm and rated IP30 with correct lens installation and wiring. The P7 connection provides one isolated input, one isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated I/O.
