Large-scene depth measurement
Multiple-DOE speckle structured light gives MV-DB1300A a 2100 mm measurement range with 1536 × 1024 depth output and 3072 × 2048 RGB output. At 2100 mm, the typical viewing area is 2000 × 1600 mm and stated Z-axis repeatability is 1.5 mm. This combination targets depth and colour acquisition across large objects and broad measurement zones rather than short-range detail work.
The camera can cover dimension, position and occupancy checks where the scene grows from 870 × 860 mm at 1100 mm to 3340 × 2500 mm at 3200 mm. Gigabit Ethernet carries the data, while a 12-pin M12 connection supplies power and I/O with three opto-isolated inputs and three outputs. IP65 protection and a 0 to 45 °C working range support installation in exposed industrial areas within those limits.
Against the other 3D stereo cameras here, MV-DB1300A has the longest stated measurement range: 2100 mm versus 1500 mm for MV-DB500S and 700 mm for MV-DB700S-C V3.0. Choose MV-DB500S when 30 fps depth acquisition and its 500 mm working distance better fit the station. Choose MV-DB700S-C V3.0 for a 300 mm clearance, a shorter 700 mm range and stated Z accuracy of 2.5 mm at 0.5 m.
Overview
An RGB-D camera: it delivers a colour image and a depth map at the same time. In logistics it measures parcel dimensions, finds the parcel on the belt and splits a bulk flow into single items.
It works with the HiViewer application, and an SDK is available for custom development.

FAQ
What depth and RGB resolutions does MV-DB1300A provide?
Depth output is 1536 × 1024 pixels and RGB output is 3072 × 2048 pixels. The larger RGB raster can support colour context alongside the depth map produced by the structured-light stereo camera.
How large is the measured zone at the typical distance?
At the typical 2100 mm distance, the stated viewing area is 2000 × 1600 mm. The camera also gives 870 × 860 mm at 1100 mm and expands to 3340 × 2500 mm at 3200 mm.
What Z-axis repeatability is stated for MV-DB1300A?
The stated Z-axis repeatability is 1.5 mm at 2100 mm. Evaluate that value together with the 2100 mm measurement range and the 2000 × 1600 mm typical viewing area when sizing the measurement geometry.
Which connections are needed for data, power and I/O?
Data uses Gigabit Ethernet at 1000 Mbit/s. A 12-pin M12 connection provides 24 V DC power and I/O, including three opto-isolated inputs on Lines 0/3/6 and three outputs on Lines 1/4/7.
Can MV-DB1300A operate in an exposed industrial area?
The enclosure is rated IP65 and the working-temperature range is 0 to 45 °C. Storage is specified from -30 to 80 °C, with operating humidity from 20 to 85% RH.
What structured-light source and safety class are specified?
MV-DB1300A uses multiple-DOE speckle structured light at an 850 nm wavelength. The laser safety class is Class 3R, a selection and installation characteristic that must be included in the station assessment.
