Hikrobot MV-GE4004P

Powered four-port 2.5 GigE integration

Four PoE-capable RJ45 ports combine camera power with multirate acquisition on MV-GE4004P. Each link supports 10, 100, 1000 or 2500 Mbit/s for GigE and 2.5 GigE industrial cameras under IEEE 802.3. Four streams pass through a PCI-E gen2 × 4 host interface rated at 2000 MB/s maximum transmission bandwidth, with 9 KB jumbo-frame support.

This configuration fits multi-view inspection and distributed camera stations where separate power cabling is to be avoided. Board consumption is 6.1 W without PoE loads, so connected cameras must be added to host power calculations. The card weighs approximately 210 g, measures 181 × 126.3 × 21.6 mm and operates from 0 to 55 °C at 10% RH to 95% RH.

MV-GE4004 provides the same four link rates, port count, stream count and host bandwidth; it consumes 6.3 W and weighs about 190 g. MV-GE4002P retains PoE but reduces capacity to two cameras and two streams, with 4 W card consumption excluding camera loads. Choose MV-GE4004P when four powered 2.5 GigE links must share one gen2 × 4 adapter.

Selection and applications

Powered four-view inspection. Four-stream 2.5 GigE acquisition. Single-cable multi-camera integration.

Minimum kit: Install MV-GE4004P in PCI-E gen2 × 4, connect up to four PoE GigE or 2.5 GigE cameras by RJ45, and provide power for 6.1 W board use plus camera loads.

Nearby in the range: MV-GE4004 — Prefer it for four camera ports, four streams, 6.3 W consumption and approximately 190 g mass.; MV-GE4002P — Prefer it when two powered camera ports and two streams meet the acquisition requirement..

FAQ

How many PoE camera connections can MV-GE4004P support?

The board supports as many as four cameras and four streams through 4 PoE-capable RJ45 ports. Each port accepts 10, 100, 1000 or 2500 Mbit/s GigE and 2.5 GigE camera links.

What host slot and packet size are specified for acquisition?

MV-GE4004P connects through PCI-E gen2 × 4 and lists 2000 MB/s maximum transmission bandwidth. Its camera network path supports 9 KB jumbo frames under IEEE 802.3.

How should power be calculated for a fully populated card?

The card consumption is 6.1 W without PoE. Power provision must therefore include that board figure plus the loads of as many as four cameras drawing power through the RJ45 interfaces.

What temperature, humidity and card mass are specified?

Working temperature spans 0 to 55 °C, storage spans -20 to 70 °C, and humidity spans 10% RH to 95% RH. The board weighs approximately 210 g and measures 181 × 126.3 × 21.6 mm.

When is MV-GE4004 the corresponding four-port choice?

MV-GE4004 provides four camera ports and four streams with 2000 MB/s host bandwidth. Its board consumption is 6.3 W and its mass is approximately 190 g.
