Compact embedded reading tasks
A 38 mm × 38 mm × 19 mm body and 40 g mass make MV-ID803M a compact monochrome reader for embedded or space-limited code stations. Its 1/6-inch imager records 640 × 480 with 3.7 µm pixels at up to 60 fps, and the decoder reaches 15 codes/sec. The optical assembly uses a 3.1 mm focal length and M10 mount, with warm white illumination built in.
The small housing fits fixtures, kiosks or machine panels where the 3.1 mm optics cover the required field. An orange circular aiming light assists alignment, while an LED and buzzer provide local status. A top button can trigger setup reads; in service, one non-isolated input, one output and one configurable I/O line connect the reader to nearby controls. USB2.0 and RS-232 variants are listed.
MV-ID813M keeps the same body size, 40 g weight and 60 fps ceiling but moves to 1280 × 1024, a 1/4-inch sensor, 4.9 mm focal length and 20 codes/sec. MV-ID803M is the lower-resolution, wider compact option around 3.1 mm optics; choose MV-ID813M when the code needs more samples or the extra reading-rate margin is required.
