More sampling in the ID800M footprint is the role of MV-ID813M. The 1/4-inch monochrome imager records 1280 × 1024 with 2.7 µm pixels at up to 60 fps, and code reading reaches 20 codes/sec. Its M10 optical assembly has a 4.9 mm focal length, exposure from 60 µs to 7000 µs and gain from 1 dB to 15 dB.
At 38 mm × 38 mm × 19 mm and approximately 40 g without cable, the reader fits compact fixtures that need more code detail than 640 × 480. Warm white light illuminates the field and a cross laser establishes aim. A top button supports local triggering, while one input, one output and one configurable I/O line connect the station. An LED and buzzer provide visible and audible status.
MV-ID803M shares the 60 fps ceiling, body dimensions, M10 mount and 2.5 W consumption, but uses 640 × 480, a 3.1 mm focal length and a 15 codes/sec decoder. MV-ID813M instead provides 1280 × 1024, 4.9 mm optics and 20 codes/sec. Select MV-ID813M when added detail or reading rate matters; use MV-ID803M around the shorter focal length and smaller image.
