Wireless high-protection code capture
Bluetooth BT 5.0, a 4650 mAh battery and IP67 protection combine in MV-IDH9000B. Its 1280 × 1024 CMOS imager covers 43.6° × 35.5° in wide-angle form and 10.4° × 8.3° in the telephoto variant. Red diffuse, red bi-directional, white direct and white polarized lighting can be polled automatically, while red-laser and green-LED aiming depend on the optical version.
Reading spans begin at 0 mm for several Code 128 and QR Code sizes; a 5 mil Data Matrix is covered from 5 mm to 79 mm. The wireless link reaches 100 m in an open area, and the battery supports 14 h of interval scanning once every 20 seconds. Network and USB smart bases charge and pass decoded results to Ethernet, RS-232 or USB-connected systems.
MV-IDH9000B adds mobility to MV-IDH9000 while retaining its resolution, reading ranges, IP67 rating and 2.5 m drop figure. MV-IDH7000B also reaches 100 m but uses a 3150 mAh battery, runs for 13 h at a 2-second scan interval and carries IP65. MV-IDH3000B is lighter at about 230 g and offers a 40° × 34° view, but its protection is IP52 rather than IP67.
Overview
The top handheld reader for direct part marking: two optical paths in one body for ultra-small codes, four lighting modes, an OLED screen, IP67, a 2.5 m drop rating and 20,000 tumbles. It goes where the code is dot-peened into metal, sits on a curved surface and defeats everything else.
Wireless edition: Bluetooth link; the US, LS and LES kits include a charging base.
