High-resolution mono applications

High-resolution mono analysis is the focus of MV-SC5120XM. Its 1.1-inch CMOS sensor records 4096 × 2944 with 3.45 µm pixels, global shutter and a maximum of 30 fps. Exposure ranges from 45 µs to 1 sec. The C-mount camera runs Vision Master Platform with a deep-learning module for OCR, object recognition and defect detection, and provides 64 GB of internal storage.

The dense mono frame suits inspections that depend on edges, shape, small print or many measurement regions within one view. Global exposure keeps geometry consistent when the part moves during capture, provided lighting supports the selected exposure. Gigabit Ethernet carries results through PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, TCP or UDP, while three isolated inputs and three isolated outputs connect triggers and machine decisions.

MV-SC5020XM reaches 100 fps at 1600 × 1216, fitting much shorter cycles with fewer spatial samples. MV-SC5050XM provides the middle point at 2432 × 2048 and 60 fps. MV-SC6120M retains 4096 × 2944 mono imaging but increases the rate to 40 fps and changes the I/O connection from the 12-pin M12 arrangement here to a 17-pin M12 interface with an external light output.
