High-resolution mono inspection and I/O
A 4096 × 2944 mono image at up to 40 fps makes MV-SC6120M the detail-led mono member of SC6000. The 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensor has 3.45 µm pixels, global shutter and exposure from 45 µs to 1 sec. C-mount optics define the application field, and Vision Master Platform supplies deep-learning OCR, object recognition and defect detection with 64 GB of camera storage.
The frame supports dimensional analysis, fine edge localisation, print inspection and many regions of interest within one view. Global exposure maintains consistent feature geometry on moving parts when capture is synchronised. The 17-pin M12 connector carries 24 VDC, isolated and configurable I/O, RS-232 and a light-source output up to 30 W; Gigabit Ethernet links the processed result to control networks.
MV-SC6050M increases the ceiling to 80 fps at 2432 × 2048, while MV-SC6016M reaches 120 fps at 1408 × 1024. Those models exchange spatial sampling for faster acquisition. MV-SC5120XM matches 4096 × 2944 in mono but stops at 30 fps and uses a 12-pin M12 power and I/O connector, whereas MV-SC6120M reaches 40 fps and adds the stated external light output.

FAQ
Which lens format matches this high-resolution mono sensor?
The camera uses C-mount and has a 1/1.1-inch sensor. The lens should cover the full 4096 × 2944 image and transfer detail appropriate to 3.45 µm pixels. Illumination must be added because a light source is not included.
How do exposure and global shutter support dimensional work?
The CMOS global shutter exposes the frame together, limiting motion-dependent geometric skew. Exposure ranges from 45 µs to 1 sec and acquisition reaches 40 fps, so triggering and light level can be matched to both part motion and cycle time.
What is available for trigger, result and light control?
A 17-pin M12 connector provides two opto-isolated inputs, two opto-isolated outputs, two configurable non-isolated input/output lines, one RS-232 channel and one external light output rated to a maximum of 30 W.
How does this model exchange data with an automation system?
Gigabit Ethernet operates at 1000 Mbit/s and supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, TCP, UDP, Fins, MC and FTP. On-camera processing includes OCR, object recognition and defect detection through Vision Master Platform.
What electrical and ambient figures matter during integration?
The camera takes 24 VDC and draws approximately 12.5 W without external light or 42.5 W with it. Its operating range is 0 °C to 50 °C, and IP67 applies when the waterproof lens cap is installed correctly.
