At 336 fps, the 672 × 512 output prioritises event timing over image detail. The PYTHON300 CMOS sensor uses a global shutter, so the complete frame represents one instant rather than a line-by-line scan of a moving subject. Its 1/4-inch format, C-mount and Gigabit Ethernet connection place this compact 29 × 29 × 42 mm camera in fast, low-resolution inspection stations.

Rapid presence checks, counting and position tracking on a moving line follow directly from the global shutter and 336 fps ceiling. Exposure can be set from 40 µs to 10 sec, while the 59 dB dynamic range and 0–15 dB gain provide adjustment for changing illumination.
