Color discrimination at 312.9 fps is the defining balance of MV-CA004-10GC V3.0. A Sony IMX287 CMOS sensor provides 720 × 540 output, 6.9 × 6.9 µm pixels and a global shutter through Gigabit Ethernet. The 1/2.9-inch sensor sits behind a C-mount in a 29 × 29 × 42 mm housing, with exposure adjustable from 1 µs to 10 sec.

The global shutter and 1 µs minimum exposure support sharp sampling of quickly moving items when illumination permits, while the color output can distinguish appearance states as well as position. One opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bidirectional I/O line allow acquisition to be tied to machine timing. Power may come from PoE or 9–24 V DC, and typical draw is 3.1 W at 12 V DC.
