The 1.1-inch Sony® IMX253 uses 3.45 µm pixels and a global shutter, while 10 Gigabit Ethernet carries the full-resolution stream. Exposure can be set from 2 µs in UltraShort mode through 10 sec in standard mode. An M58 × 0.75 lens interface, active fan cooling and a 74 mm square frontal profile make this a large-body high-throughput configuration.
This combination is suited to edge, shape and surface checks on moving material where colour information is not part of the decision. Short simultaneous exposure limits geometric skew, and 68.3 fps provides successive views of fast handling or indexing. MV-CH120-15TM-M58S-NF is the mono member of the M58-mounted Sony® IMX253 pair; MV-CH120-15TC-M58S-NF changes the output to colour without changing the 4096 × 3000 frame or 68.3 fps ceiling. MV-CH120-60TM-C-NF retains mono output but changes to a Stacked BSI sensor, C-mount and 80 fps. MV-CH120-40XM-M58S-NN also accepts M58 × 0.75 optics, yet its 22.5 mm × 16.9 mm sensor and CoaXPress interface serve the 188 fps operating point.
