MV-CH120-20UC V4.0 combines 12.6 MP, a 1-inch sensor, 3.2 µm pixels and global exposure in a 29 mm × 29 mm × 30 mm enclosure. Its 68 dB dynamic range and selectable exposure from 52 µs in UltraShort mode to 10 sec in standard mode cover short machine cycles as well as longer stationary acquisitions. Optical attachment is C-mount.

Colour-coded components, print features and assembly conditions can be checked at a workstation where the camera is close to its host. At 28 fps, the global shutter provides repeated, undistorted views of indexed or continuously moving objects. USB 3.0 can provide the specified 5 VDC camera power, giving typical consumption of 3.2 W, while a 9 VDC to 24 VDC input remains available. The isolated input and output on the 6-pin P7 connector support external triggering and event timing.

This is the faster colour member of the OnSemi XGS12000 group. MV-CH120-20GC V4.0 retains colour and 4096 × 3072 but runs at 9.6 fps over Gigabit Ethernet with PoE. MV-CH120-20UM V4.0 matches the 28 fps USB 3.0 architecture and changes the output to mono. MV-CH120-60UC uses a 1.1-inch Stacked BSI sensor and a 4096 × 3000 frame at 30.7 fps, providing a nearby USB option with different sensor geometry.
