Networked color inspection at 12.2 MP

Detailed color imaging over a network is the purpose of the MV-CS120-10GC V5.0. Its 12.2 MP Sony® IMX226 rolling-shutter CMOS sensor records 4024 × 3036 Bayer RG 8 images at up to 10 fps. The 1/1.7-inch sensor uses 1.85 µm pixels, with 69.4 dB dynamic range, exposure from 33 µs to 2 sec and gain from 0 dB to 20 dB. Gigabit Ethernet operates at 1000 Mbit/s and remains compatible with 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet.

The combination is suited to color and print verification, label inspection and detailed appearance checks where image content takes precedence over rapid sequences. PoE enables power and data on the Ethernet run, while a 9 VDC to 24 VDC alternative is available through the 6-pin P7 connector. The same connector exposes isolated input and output plus a bidirectional non-isolated line. A C-mount fits the 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm camera body.

MV-CS120-10GM V5.0 preserves the 4024 × 3036 resolution, 10 fps rate and Gigabit Ethernet link but provides Mono 8 output. MV-CS120-10UC V5.0 keeps color at the same resolution and raises the maximum to 29.4 fps through USB 3.0. If lower spatial sampling is acceptable for a faster networked color sequence, MV-CS060-10GC operates at 3072 × 2048 and 19.1 fps over Gigabit Ethernet.
