Execution choices for fast moderate-depth scans

MV-DP3060 combines a moderate Z envelope with two distinct acquisition geometries. The 01D execution covers 20.5 mm at a 60 mm distance and reaches 19 kHz in ROI mode; 01P covers 27 mm at 62 mm and runs from 3.4 to 46.7 kHz. Both use 3200-point profiles, with repeatability of 0.44 µm for 01D and 0.56 µm for 01P.

The paired executions allow profile rate, measurement depth and housing size to be balanced for height, edge and contour checks on a moving line. Original images, profiles, depth images and brightness images are available over Gigabit Ethernet. Software or differential-encoder hardware triggering is listed, and each 12-pin M12 arrangement supplies 24 VDC while its input allocation follows the execution.

MV-DP3060-01P keeps close to MV-DP2060's 26 mm height range but raises the upper rate from 10 to 46.7 kHz and increases profile points from 2048 to 3200. MV-DP3062 provides the same 46.7 kHz ceiling with an 11 mm range and 0.30 µm repeatability. Choose MV-DP3060 for 20.5 to 27 mm of relief; select MV-DP3062 when a shallower field permits finer repeatability.

Overview

A DP3000 series laser profiler — the mid class: the same 3200 points per profile at twice the scan rate, up to 46.7 kHz.

Working distance 62 mm, measurement range 27 mm.

Used where a profile is needed rather than a picture: weld bead control, adhesive bead height, gap and flush, warpage, parcel volume. Data goes to VM3D or 3DMVS, and to third-party software over a standard protocol.

Selection and applications

Fast contour measurement through a 20.5 or 27 mm Z range. Encoder-triggered 3200-point profile acquisition. ROI scanning up to 19 kHz or high-rate capture up to 46.7 kHz.

Minimum kit: MV-DP3060, a Gigabit Ethernet cable, a 12-pin M12 power and I/O cable matched to the execution, a 24 VDC supply, and a 3DMVS, VM3D or third-party software host form the minimum acquisition kit.

Nearby in the range: MV-DP2060 — Prefer it when a 26 mm Z range, 2048-point profile and 10 kHz ROI ceiling are sufficient.; MV-DP3062 — Prefer it for an 11 mm Z range, 0.30 µm repeatability and rates up to 46.7 kHz..

FAQ

How do the 01D and 01P measurement envelopes differ on MV-DP3060?

The 01D execution covers 20.5 mm along Z at a 60 mm working distance, with an X field of 27.5 to 33.5 mm. The 01P execution covers 27 mm at 62 mm, with an X field of 30 to 40 mm.

Which MV-DP3060 execution provides the higher profile rate?

The 01D entry lists 1.3 kHz over the full range and a 19 kHz ROI maximum. The 01P entry lists high-frame-rate operation from 3.4 to 46.7 kHz. Both executions provide 3200 measurement points per profile.

What repeatability and Z resolution are stated for each MV-DP3060 variant?

For 01D, repeatability is 0.44 µm and Z resolution is 1.45 to 2.17 µm. For 01P, repeatability is 0.56 µm and Z resolution is 1.74 to 3.07 µm. These values let depth and rate be considered with vertical detail.

How do the MV-DP3060 power, I/O and housing entries vary?

The 01D execution is 258 × 97.5 × 66 mm, approximately 1510 g and typically 21 W. The 01P execution is 128.5 × 93 × 62 mm, approximately 850 g and typically 17.2 W. Both use 24 VDC and a 12-pin M12 power/I/O interface.

What outputs and trigger methods can an MV-DP3060 station use?

Available outputs are original images, profile data, depth images and brightness images. The trigger modes are software trigger and differential-encoder hardware trigger, and Gigabit Ethernet carries the resulting 3200-point profile stream.

Which acquisition software is listed for the MV-DP3060 family?

The named options are 3DMVS, VM3D and third-party software. Communication uses 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet with 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet compatibility, while the selected execution determines the maximum scan rate and I/O allocation.
