Fast fine-detail scanning
An 11 mm Z range, 0.30 µm repeatability and a 46.7 kHz upper rate make MV-DP3062 a fine-geometry, high-throughput profiler. The working distance is 61.5 mm, with an X field of 18 mm near, 19 mm at reference and 20 mm far. Each profile carries 3200 points, while Z resolution runs from 0.94 to 1.22 µm.
The narrow measurement field suits fine height, step and edge tracking where many profiles must be acquired along motion. Gigabit Ethernet transports the 3200-point stream, and the 12-pin M12 connection supplies 24 VDC with isolated and differential timing channels. IP67 protection and a 0 to 45 °C working interval define the line-side environment.
MV-DP3062 duplicates the measurement geometry and 0.30 µm repeatability of MV-DP2062, but its high-frame-rate range is 3.4 to 46.7 kHz rather than 1.7 to 23.9 kHz. MV-DP4060-01P moves to 4080 profile points, 0.36 µm repeatability and a 49 kHz maximum over a 21 mm Z range. Select MV-DP3062 for the narrow 11 mm envelope; move to MV-DP4060-01P for more points and depth.
Overview
A DP3000 series laser profiler — the mid class: the same 3200 points per profile at twice the scan rate, up to 46.7 kHz.
Working distance 61.5 mm, measurement range 11 mm.
Used where a profile is needed rather than a picture: weld bead control, adhesive bead height, gap and flush, warpage, parcel volume. Data goes to VM3D or 3DMVS, and to third-party software over a standard protocol.

Selection and applications
Fine height and step inspection with 0.30 µm repeatability. High-rate contour capture across a 19 mm reference field. 3200-point line profiling up to 46.7 kHz.
Minimum kit: MV-DP3062, a Gigabit Ethernet cable, a 12-pin M12 power and I/O cable, a 24 VDC supply, and a 3DMVS, VM3D or third-party software host form the minimum acquisition kit.
Nearby in the range: MV-DP2062 — Prefer it when the same 11 mm geometry only needs rates up to 23.9 kHz.; MV-DP4060-01P — Prefer it for 4080 points, a 21 mm Z range and a 49 kHz maximum rate..

FAQ
What makes MV-DP3062 suitable for fine features on a fast line?
The model combines 0.30 µm stated repeatability with 0.94 to 1.22 µm Z resolution and a 3.4 to 46.7 kHz high-frame-rate range. Each profile contains 3200 points across the 18 to 20 mm X field.
What clearance and target size fit the MV-DP3062 measurement field?
The reference distance is 61.5 mm and the Z range is 11 mm. X coverage changes from 18 mm at the near boundary through 19 mm at reference to 20 mm far, defining the usable volume for both the target and its fixtures.
How is the MV-DP3062 profile stream carried to the host?
Profiles use 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet, with compatibility for 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet. Host and link throughput should be selected for 3200 points per profile and the active scan rate within the stated 3.4 to 46.7 kHz interval.
Which power and I/O channels are provided by MV-DP3062?
A 12-pin M12 interface carries the 24 VDC supply and provides two opto-isolated inputs, two differential inputs and one differential output. Typical power consumption is 17.2 W at 24 VDC.
What temperature, humidity and ingress limits apply to MV-DP3062?
The enclosure is rated IP67 and works from 0 to 45 °C. Storage is specified from -30 to 80 °C, with 20 to 85% RH when condensation is absent. The housing measures 136.5 × 120 × 60.5 mm and weighs approximately 1080 g.
What is the selection difference between MV-DP3062 and MV-DP2062?
Both sensors state an 11 mm Z range, 61.5 mm working distance, 3200 profile points and 0.30 µm repeatability. MV-DP3062 reaches 46.7 kHz, while the MV-DP2062 high-frame-rate range ends at 23.9 kHz.
