Hikrobot MV-DP3300

High-rate scanning across a 210 mm depth

A 210 mm Z range, 300 mm working distance and 183 mm reference field give MV-DP3300 a large inspection envelope without leaving the 46.7 kHz speed class. The X field expands from 130 to 236 mm across the range. Each profile contains 3200 points, with 9.36 to 26.27 µm Z resolution and 2.20 µm stated repeatability.

The sensor can acquire height, shape and edge profiles on large moving parts while keeping substantial clearance from the target. Its 3.4 to 46.7 kHz range supports dense acquisition along motion, and Gigabit Ethernet carries the stream. A 12-pin M12 connection provides 24 VDC and isolated plus differential I/O, while the IP67 enclosure sets the protection level.

MV-DP3300 more than doubles MV-DP3120's 86 mm 01P range while retaining the same 46.7 kHz upper rate; MV-DP3120 provides 1.68 µm repeatability over the smaller field. MV-DP3580 also reaches 46.7 kHz but extends depth to 580 mm and the reference field to 328 mm, with 4.84 µm repeatability. Select MV-DP3300 for the middle 210 mm envelope and 2.20 µm repeatability.

Overview

A DP3000 series laser profiler — the mid class: the same 3200 points per profile at twice the scan rate, up to 46.7 kHz.

Working distance 300 mm, measurement range 210 mm.

Used where a profile is needed rather than a picture: weld bead control, adhesive bead height, gap and flush, warpage, parcel volume. Data goes to VM3D or 3DMVS, and to third-party software over a standard protocol.

Selection and applications

Large-part height inspection through a 210 mm Z range. Contour capture across a 183 mm reference field. High-rate 3200-point profiling up to 46.7 kHz.

Minimum kit: MV-DP3300, a Gigabit Ethernet cable, a 12-pin M12 power and I/O cable, a 24 VDC supply, and a 3DMVS, VM3D or third-party software host form the minimum acquisition kit.

Nearby in the range: MV-DP3120 — Prefer its 01P execution for an 86 mm Z range and 1.68 µm repeatability at the same 46.7 kHz ceiling.; MV-DP3580 — Prefer it when the Z range must extend to 580 mm and the reference field to 328 mm..

FAQ

What target dimensions fit the expanding MV-DP3300 measurement field?

The Z range is 210 mm around a 300 mm working distance. X coverage expands from 130 mm near through 183 mm at reference to 236 mm far, so part width and nearby fixtures must remain inside the appropriate plane of that volume.

What spatial detail does each MV-DP3300 profile contain?

Each profile contains 3200 measurement points. X resolution changes from 40.5 to 79.2 µm, while Z resolution runs from 9.36 to 26.27 µm through the measurement range. Stated repeatability is 2.20 µm.

How fast can MV-DP3300 scan a large moving surface?

The high-frame-rate range extends from 3.4 to 46.7 kHz. This allows the acquisition rate to be aligned with machine motion and required profile spacing while maintaining the 3200 transverse points in each scan.

Which power, network and I/O connections does MV-DP3300 require?

Data uses 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet with 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet compatibility. A 12-pin M12 interface carries 24 VDC and provides two opto-isolated inputs, two differential inputs and one differential output. Typical consumption is 17.2 W.

What physical and ambient constraints apply to an MV-DP3300 mount?

The IP67 unit measures 210.5 × 125.5 × 59 mm and weighs approximately 1550 g. Its working range is 0 to 45 °C, storage range is -30 to 80 °C, and humidity range is 20 to 85% RH without condensation.

What shared performance is listed for MV-DP3300-01P and 03P documents?

The model entry covers a 210 mm Z range, 3200-point profiles, 2.20 µm repeatability and a 3.4 to 46.7 kHz high-frame-rate interval. Software choices are 3DMVS, VM3D and third-party software over Gigabit Ethernet.
