Fast large-volume contour acquisition

A 580 mm Z range and 585 mm working distance give MV-DP3580 a large measurement volume, while a 3.4 to 46.7 kHz high-frame-rate range supports fast motion. The X field spans 174 mm near, 328 mm at reference and 482 mm far. Profiles contain 3200 points, with 14.45 to 98.78 µm Z resolution and 4.84 µm repeatability.

The combination supports overall height, shape and edge tracking on large moving objects without placing the sensor close to the surface. Profile, depth and brightness outputs are available over Gigabit Ethernet. Software or differential-encoder hardware triggering aligns scans with motion, and a 12-pin M12 connection carries 24 VDC plus isolated and differential I/O.

MV-DP3580 raises the rate ceiling over MV-DP2470, which covers 670 mm along Z but reaches 23.9 kHz and states 4.45 µm repeatability. MV-DP3900 keeps the 46.7 kHz ceiling while expanding the Z range to 905 mm and the reference field to 495 mm, with 8.12 µm repeatability. Select MV-DP3580 when 580 mm of depth and finer repeatability are sufficient; move to MV-DP3900 for the larger volume.
