Four-camera electrical GigE Vision acquisition

Four RJ45 ports place MV-GT1004 in multi-camera 10 GigE inspection systems using electrical Ethernet connections. It accepts as many as four GigE or 10 GigE industrial cameras under GigE Vision V2.0, buffers data in 2 GB DDR3 memory, and attaches through PCI-E gen2 × 8. Host transfer is rated at 3900 MB/s maximum and 3350 MB/s sustained.

This port count supports four viewpoints around a component, parallel inspection stations or synchronized capture of different process areas. Eight configurable I/O connections handle single-ended or differential signals with 3.3 V DC to 12 V DC and 24 V DC input ranges. The board consumes 24 W, measures 181 × 126.3 × 21.4 mm and works from 0 to 60 °C.

MV-GT1002 provides the same protocol, host interconnect and sustained bandwidth but has two RJ45 ports and consumes 19.2 W. MV-GT1104P retains four electrical camera ports, provides PoE, moves to PCI-E gen3 × 8 and 4 GB DDR4 memory, and sustains 6750 MB/s. Choose MV-GT1004 for four GigE Vision links when the host provides gen2 × 8 and 2 GB DDR3 buffering.
