MV-SC1003M keeps the same 640 × 480 resolution, 15 fps rate and 3.1 mm optics but uses a mono sensor, so it fits grayscale and edge-led decisions rather than color discrimination. MV-SC1008M remains mono and 15 fps but increases sampling to 1024 × 768 with a 4.9 mm focal length. Choose MV-SC1003C when color tools are decisive; choose MV-SC1008M when the higher mono pixel grid matters more.
