Hikrobot MV-SC6120C

Dense colour capture in the SC6000 range

Colour inspection at 4096 × 2944 and up to 40 fps is the defining combination for MV-SC6120C. Its 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensor uses 3.45 µm pixels and a global shutter, with exposure from 35 µs to 1 sec. The C-mount optical interface supports application-specific field selection, while Vision Master Platform provides deep-learning OCR, object recognition and defect detection.

The large colour frame fits broad-field assembly verification, multi-region label inspection and defect checks where small chromatic features must remain separable. Global exposure supports moving material at a cycle compatible with 40 fps. The 17-pin M12 interface carries power, two isolated inputs, two isolated outputs, two configurable non-isolated lines, RS-232 and a 30 W light-source output for synchronised illumination.

MV-SC6050C offers 2432 × 2048 at 80 fps, doubling the maximum rate while reducing image dimensions. MV-SC6016C reaches 120 fps with 1408 × 1024 in its C-mount form for the shortest cycles. MV-SC6120M retains 4096 × 2944 and 40 fps but records mono, so MV-SC6120C is the member to select when colour, not only intensity and geometry, distinguishes the inspected feature.

Selection and applications

High-resolution colour assembly verification. Multi-region OCR at 4096 × 2944. Global-shutter defect inspection at 40 fps.

Minimum kit: Install MV-SC6120C with a C-mount lens covering its 1/1.1-inch sensor, external illumination as required, a Gigabit Ethernet cable, a 17-pin M12 power and I/O cable, and a 24 VDC source.

Nearby in the range: MV-SC6050C — Prefer it for 2432 × 2048 colour acquisition at up to 80 fps.; MV-SC6016C — Prefer it when 120 fps has priority over the 4096 × 2944 frame.; MV-SC6120M — Prefer it for mono output at the same 4096 × 2944 and 40 fps..

FAQ

What optical coverage is needed for the 4096 × 2944 sensor?

MV-SC6120C has a C-mount and a 1/1.1-inch sensor with 3.45 µm pixels. A selected lens should cover that sensor format and preserve feature detail across the full 4096 × 2944 colour image. No light source is included.

How should the 40 fps maximum be considered in line timing?

The camera acquires up to 40 fps at full 4096 × 2944 resolution. Its global shutter and 35 µs minimum exposure support triggered moving-part capture, but the process must allow the lower rate associated with this dense colour frame.

What control and lighting signals share the M12 connection?

The 17-pin M12 connector provides two opto-isolated inputs, two opto-isolated outputs, two configurable non-isolated lines and one RS-232 channel. It also supplies one external light output with a stated maximum of 30 W.

Which network protocols can carry an inspection decision?

The 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet interface supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, TCP, UDP, Fins, MC and FTP. Vision Master Platform can execute OCR, object recognition or defect detection before the result is transmitted.

What power and environmental boundaries apply to MV-SC6120C?

At 24 VDC, consumption is approximately 12.5 W without external light and 42.5 W with it. Operation spans 0 °C to 50 °C. IP67 protection depends on correct installation of the waterproof lens cap around the C-mount optics.
