Core i5 multi-camera station control
Core i5-12400 processing in a seven-port GigE controller is the defining position of MV-VC551x. Four of its network interfaces provide PoE, allowing camera power and Ethernet traffic to share those connections. The unactivated Windows 10 platform is accompanied by four USB 2.0, four USB 3.0 and one built-in USB 2.0 interface, plus HDMI and VGA outputs that can operate independently at the same time.
The controller fits multi-camera inspection stations that combine Ethernet acquisition with direct machine control. Eight isolated inputs, twelve isolated outputs with NPN/PNP switching, eight isolated low-side driver outputs and four bidirectional differential lines cover trigger and actuator paths. Two serial interfaces default to RS-232 and can switch to RS-485 or RS-422. Two SATA 3.0 connections provide storage expansion without requiring a PCIe card layout.
MV-VC531x uses the same seven GigE and four PoE arrangement in the Core i3-12100 tier. MV-VC571x preserves the 302.3 × 248 × 105.2 mm enclosure and 264 W typical system figure but moves to Core i7-12700. MV-VC552x keeps Core i5-12400 and specifies one ×16, one ×8 and two ×4 PCIe interfaces in a 210 mm-high chassis.
Overview
A vision controller from the top VC5000 series on the Intel Core i5-12400 processor. Seven Gigabit ports, four of them with PoE, so a camera needs a single cable. RAM is chosen by part number: 8, 16 or 32 GB; the 2T suffix adds a 2 TB hard disk for the image archive.
A compact H610 chassis: two SATA bays, 105 mm high, 6 kg, 264 W typical. There are no expansion slots — this is a finished station, not a platform to build upon.
