Core i7 control in the 105.2 mm chassis

Core i7-12700 operation in the 105.2 mm-high VC5000 enclosure positions MV-VC571x for multi-camera processing. Seven GigE interfaces include four PoE ports. Unactivated Windows 10 is the software base, with four USB 2.0, four USB 3.0 and one built-in USB 2.0 connection for peripherals and HDMI plus VGA for simultaneous independent display output.

The network layout fits stations acquiring several GigE cameras, including four powered through PoE. Machine sequencing can use eight isolated inputs, twelve isolated outputs, eight isolated low-side driver outputs and four bidirectional differential I/O lines. Two serial ports switch among RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422. Two SATA 3.0 interfaces provide storage expansion within the compact form.

MV-VC551x matches the seven-port network, I/O quantities, 302.3 × 248 × 105.2 mm enclosure and 264 W typical draw but uses Core i5-12400. MV-VC531x uses Core i3-12100 with seven GigE ports, including four PoE, in the same enclosure size. MV-VC572x retains Core i7-12700 and seven GigE ports in a 210 mm-high chassis and specifies one ×16, one ×8 and two ×4 PCIe interfaces plus M.2 NVME.

Overview

A vision controller from the top VC5000 series on the Intel Core i7-12700 processor. Seven Gigabit ports, four of them with PoE, so a camera needs a single cable. RAM is chosen by part number: 8, 16 or 32 GB; the 2T suffix adds a 2 TB hard disk for the image archive.

A compact H610 chassis: two SATA bays, 105 mm high, 6 kg, 264 W typical. There are no expansion slots — this is a finished station, not a platform to build upon.

FAQ

What identifies MV-VC571x as the Core i7 controller tier?

Its working-temperature entries identify Core i7-12700. The same controller family associates MV-VC551x with Core i5-12400 and MV-VC531x with Core i3-12100, while all three provide seven GigE ports including four PoE.

Which MV-VC571x network ports can supply camera power?

The controller supplies seven GigE interfaces, four with PoE. Four compatible cameras can therefore receive network and power through those ports, leaving three additional GigE interfaces for other camera or network connections.

Which I/O resources are available for machine sequencing?

There are eight opto-isolated inputs, twelve opto-isolated outputs that support NPN/PNP switching, eight isolated low-side driver outputs and four non-isolated bidirectional differential I/O lines.

What local display, USB and serial connections are provided?

HDMI and VGA can output independently at the same time up to 1920 × 1080 at 60 Hz. The controller also provides four USB 2.0, four USB 3.0, one built-in USB 2.0 and two serial ports switchable among RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422.

What cabinet space and supply capacity should be allocated?

MV-VC571x measures 302.3 × 248 × 105.2 mm and weighs approximately 6 kg. A 4-pin interface accepts 24 VDC, with typical consumption of 264 W. The Core i7-12700 temperature entries reach upper limits of 45 °C or 50 °C.
