Fine-pixel monochrome imaging over GigE

Fine 2.5 µm pixels across a 4200 × 2160 monochrome frame distinguish MV-CH090-60GM V5.0. The 9.1 MP Stacked BSI CMOS sensor has a 2/3-inch format and global shutter, delivering Mono 8 at 13.5 fps through Gigabit Ethernet. It fits wide edge, feature and surface analysis where a compact optical format and network connection are required.

The 20 µs to 10 sec exposure range covers brief capture of moving parts as well as longer stationary inspection. PoE permits power and data on the Ethernet cable, with a separate 9 V DC to 24 V DC input also available. Isolated input and output on the 6-pin P7 connector support trigger and light timing around the global exposure.

MV-CH089-60GM V5.0 provides 4096 × 2160 at 13.9 fps from a larger 1-inch sensor with 3.45 µm pixels. MV-CH120-10UM increases image height to 3000 pixels and speed to 23.1 fps through USB 3.0. MV-CH100-60GC offers a 4096 × 2460 color frame at 11.6 fps over Gigabit Ethernet. Select MV-CH090-60GM V5.0 for the 4200-pixel monochrome width and 2/3-inch optics.

Selection and applications

Fine-pixel monochrome feature inspection. Wide edge measurement over GigE. PoE-triggered checks of moving parts.

Minimum kit: MV-CH090-60GM V5.0, a 2/3-inch C-mount lens, a Gigabit Ethernet cable, and either PoE or a 9 V DC to 24 V DC supply form the minimum imaging set.

Nearby in the range: MV-CH089-60GM V5.0 — Prefer it for a 1-inch sensor, 3.45 µm pixels and 4096 × 2160 at 13.9 fps.; MV-CH120-10UM — Prefer it for 4096 × 3000 monochrome output at 23.1 fps over USB 3.0.; MV-CH100-60GC — Prefer it when a 4096 × 2460 color image is needed over Gigabit Ethernet..

FAQ

What detail format does the 9.1 MP monochrome sensor provide?

The sensor produces 4200 × 2160 Mono 8 with a 2.5 µm × 2.5 µm pixel pitch. The wide image supports edge and fine-feature analysis, while the global shutter keeps moving geometry simultaneous.

How much frame rate is available over Gigabit Ethernet?

The maximum listed rate is 13.5 fps at 4200 × 2160 Mono 8. Data uses 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet, with the interface also listed as compatible with 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet.

What power arrangements can be used with this V5.0 camera?

MV-CH090-60GM V5.0 supports PoE and a separate 9 V DC to 24 V DC supply. Typical power consumption is 1.8 W at 12 V DC, allowing the electrical layout to follow the network topology.

What lens format must cover the 2.5 µm pixel sensor?

A C-mount lens must cover the 2/3-inch sensor and resolve the 2.5 µm pitch over 4200 × 2160. Focal length and magnification should be chosen for the required area and smallest feature.

How compact is the camera body for mechanical integration?

Without the lens, the housing measures 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm and weighs approximately 100 g. Its working interval is -10 °C to 50 °C, and IP40 applies after correct lens installation and wiring.
