PoE color inspection at 12.3 MP

Networked 12.3 MP color acquisition is the purpose of MV-CH120-10GC. Its 1.1-inch Sony IMX304 global-shutter CMOS sensor delivers 4096 × 3000 at 9.4 fps through Gigabit Ethernet. With 3.45 µm pixels, a C-mount and PoE, the camera fits detailed color inspection of large assemblies or patterns at a moderate acquisition rate.

The global shutter supports triggered capture when targets move between frames. UltraShort exposure spans 2 µs to 14 µs, and standard exposure runs from 15 µs to 10 sec. Power can share the Gigabit Ethernet cable through PoE or enter at 12 V DC, while the 6-pin Hirose connection provides trigger and output lines.

MV-CH120-11UC retains the IMX304 and 4096 × 3000 color image but reaches 30.3 fps over USB 3.0. MV-CH120-10CC changes to IMX253 and Camera Link, delivering 51.4 fps in its full-width mode. MV-CH100-60GC uses Stacked BSI and a shorter 4096 × 2460 color image at 11.6 fps over Gigabit Ethernet. Choose MV-CH120-10GC for the taller frame and PoE topology.

FAQ

What full-resolution frame rate is available over GigE?

The camera outputs 4096 × 3000 color images at up to 9.4 fps over 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet. The interface is also listed as compatible with 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet.

Can MV-CH120-10GC combine power and data on one cable?

Yes, PoE is supported over the Ethernet connection. A separate 12 V DC supply is also permitted, and typical consumption is 4.6 W at 12 V DC, allowing either network-powered or separately powered installation.

Which C-mount optics cover the 1.1-inch IMX304 sensor?

The lens must use C-mount, cover the 1.1-inch sensor and resolve 3.45 µm pixels across 4096 × 3000. Focal length should map the required large inspection area onto the full image.

What exposure controls support triggered moving targets?

UltraShort exposure is available from 2 µs to 14 µs, followed by standard exposure from 15 µs to 10 sec. The IMX304 global shutter applies the interval simultaneously across the image.

What environmental conditions are specified for this camera?

Operation is specified from 0 °C to 50 °C at 20% RH to 80% RH without condensation. IP30 applies with correct lens installation and wiring, so the mounting environment must respect that protection level.
