Manufacturer-listed replacement:

Color USB imaging at 4096 × 3000

Color detail at 4096 × 3000 and 30.3 fps is the selection point for MV-CH120-11UC. The 12.3 MP USB 3.0 camera uses a 1.1-inch Sony IMX304 global-shutter sensor with 3.45 µm pixels, producing Bayer RG 8 output. It fits inspection stations that need a tall color image and direct USB transfer for patterns, markings and assembly features.

UltraShort exposure covers 1 µs to 14 µs, followed by a standard range from 15 µs to 10 sec. The global shutter supports color and geometry checks on moving targets. USB can power the camera at a typical 4.7 W from 5 V DC, while 9 V DC to 24 V DC external power and P7 trigger lines are also available.

MV-CH120-11UM is the monochrome partner at the same 4096 × 3000 and 30.3 fps. MV-CH120-10UM retains the IMX304 and USB interface but outputs monochrome data at 23.1 fps. MV-CH120-10CC provides IMX253 color output at 51.4 fps over Camera Link. Choose MV-CH120-11UC when color, 30.3 fps and USB 3.0 are required in the 12.3 MP format.

FAQ

What color stream is available at the maximum USB frame rate?

MV-CH120-11UC outputs 4096 × 3000 Bayer RG 8 at up to 30.3 fps. The USB 3.0 interface carries this 12.3 MP stream and is also listed as compatible with USB 2.0.

Can the camera receive power through its USB connection?

Yes. USB power is supported, with typical consumption of 4.7 W at 5 V DC when USB 3.0 supplies the camera. The alternative is a separate input from 9 V DC to 24 V DC.

Which lens format covers the 1.1-inch color sensor?

The camera uses a C-mount lens on a 1.1-inch IMX304 sensor. Optics should cover that format and resolve the 3.45 µm pixel pitch across the 4096 × 3000 Bayer image.

What I/O is available for an external trigger and light?

The 6-pin P7 connector provides one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated I/O line. These signals can align global-shutter capture with object detection and illumination.

What installation environment is allowed by the rating?

The camera operates from 0 °C to 50 °C and at 20% to 80% RH without condensation. IP30 applies after correct lens installation and wiring, so additional protection depends on site conditions.
