Near-infrared applications and positioning
Near-infrared imaging is the defining function of MV-CS013-60GN. Its 2/3-inch Stacked BSI CMOS sensor uses a global shutter and 6.9 µm pixels to produce 1224 × 1024 Mono 8 frames at up to 59.2 fps. Gigabit Ethernet carries the 1.3 MP stream. The sensor designation and 30 µs to 10 sec exposure range position this model for NIR scenes that also require geometrically consistent capture of moving targets.
The camera can inspect features whose contrast is formed under near-infrared illumination, follow a moving target, or make presence and alignment decisions outside a color workflow. A global shutter avoids motion-dependent shape distortion, while one isolated input, one isolated output and one bidirectional line support electrical coordination. PoE permits network data and power to share the Gigabit Ethernet path, with 9–24 V DC available as the other supply method.
MV-CS013-80GM offers a slightly wider 1280 × 1024 mono frame and 89.9 fps, but uses a smaller 1/2.7-inch SS sensor rather than the NIR Stacked BSI device. MV-CS020-60GM moves to 1624 × 1240 at 60.3 fps with a 1/2.53-inch Stacked BSI sensor. Select MV-CS013-60GN when NIR response and 6.9 µm pixels define the optical task; select the neighbours for mono work with either more speed or more pixels.

FAQ
What distinguishes MV-CS013-60GN from the visible variants?
The camera is designated for near-infrared output and uses a 2/3-inch Stacked BSI sensor with 6.9 µm pixels. It produces 1224 × 1024 Mono 8 images at 59.2 fps, separating its spectral role from the color and mono SS variants.
Can the global shutter be used for moving NIR targets?
Yes. The CMOS sensor uses a global shutter, so all pixels share the exposure interval. The selectable exposure range is 30 µs to 10 sec, allowing short acquisition for motion or longer integration when the NIR scene changes slowly.
How are network data and camera power connected on this model?
Image data uses Gigabit Ethernet, with Fast Ethernet also supported. Power can arrive through PoE or through the 6-pin P7 connector from a 9–24 V DC source; typical use is 1.9 W at 12 V DC.
Which lens interface and sensor coverage are required?
MV-CS013-60GN accepts C-mount optics. The selected lens must cover the camera's 2/3-inch sensor, and its focal length should map the NIR feature of interest onto the 1224 × 1024 active frame.
What operating environment is stated for the NIR camera?
The 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm enclosure is rated IP40 under correct lens installation and wiring. Operation is specified from –30 °C to 60 °C, with 20% RH to 95% RH and no condensation.
