Dual-mode color capture at 99.6 fps
A 99.6 fps Bayer GR 8 stream and two sensor operating modes characterize MV-CS020-61UC V5.0. The 1/1.7-inch Stacked BSI CMOS sensor provides 1624 × 1240 resolution, 4.5 µm pixels, a global shutter and 75.4 dB dynamic range. High full well capacity mode starts exposure at 30 µs, while high sensitivity starts at 5 µs. USB 3.0 carries the color stream from the compact 30 mm-deep body.
Color feature recognition, assembly-orientation checks and moving-part analysis can use the 2 MP image at nearly 100 fps. The global shutter preserves geometry, and the selectable exposure/gain ranges allow the acquisition setup to be changed between high-full-well and high-sensitivity priorities. USB 3.0 can supply 5 V DC power; the P7 connection also accepts 9–24 V DC and adds one isolated input, one isolated output and one bidirectional line.
MV-CS020-61UM V5.0 is the matched Mono 8 USB version, retaining 99.6 fps and 76.1 dB dynamic range. MV-CS020-61GC V5.0 keeps Bayer GR 8 color and both modes but moves to Gigabit Ethernet with PoE at 60.7 fps. MV-CS020-10UC uses the Sony® IMX430, Bayer RG 8 and a 90 fps USB stream without the V5.0 mode pair. Select MV-CS020-61UC V5.0 when color, Stacked BSI operation and the higher USB rate belong together.

FAQ
What color data is produced at the 99.6 fps ceiling?
MV-CS020-61UC V5.0 outputs 1624 × 1240 Bayer GR 8 at up to 99.6 fps. The color image comes from a 1/1.7-inch Stacked BSI sensor with 4.5 µm pixels and a global shutter.
What are the exposure limits in each V5.0 sensor mode?
High full well capacity mode spans 30 µs to 10 sec, while high sensitivity mode spans 5 µs to 10 sec. Their gain ceilings are 12.8 dB and 24 dB respectively, both beginning at 0 dB.
Can the USB connection also power the color camera?
Yes. USB 3.0 power at 5 V DC is supported, with typical consumption of 1.6 W. A separate 9–24 V DC input is available through the 6-pin P7 connector when the installation separates data and power.
How does the GigE V5.0 color version change performance?
MV-CS020-61GC V5.0 keeps 1624 × 1240 Bayer GR 8, the 1/1.7-inch Stacked BSI sensor, 75.4 dB and both modes. It changes transport to Gigabit Ethernet with PoE and runs at 60.7 fps instead of 99.6 fps.
What mechanical and temperature range surrounds the USB camera?
The C-mount IP40 body measures 29 mm × 29 mm × 30 mm and weighs approximately 80 g. Operation is specified from –30 °C to 60 °C and storage from –30 °C to 80 °C.
