V5.0 color modes and GigE placement
Dual sensor operating modes distinguish MV-CS020-61GC V5.0 within the 2 MP GigE range. Its 1/1.7-inch Stacked BSI CMOS sensor produces 1624 × 1240 Bayer GR 8 at 60.7 fps with a global shutter and 4.5 µm pixels. High full well capacity mode offers exposure from 30 µs to 10 sec and gain to 12.8 dB; high sensitivity mode starts at 5 µs and extends gain to 24 dB.
The two modes let one camera configuration address color feature inspection under different signal and exposure priorities. Moving components, printed color regions and assembly orientation can be captured without rolling geometry, while the 1624 × 1240 frame supports detailed region analysis. Gigabit Ethernet supports Fast Ethernet, PoE can carry power, and the P7 connector provides a 9–24 V DC alternative plus three I/O lines for timed acquisition.
MV-CS020-61GM V5.0 keeps the same Stacked BSI sensor, 60.7 fps and GigE interface but outputs Mono 8 and lists 76.1 dB rather than 75.4 dB dynamic range. MV-CS020-61UC V5.0 retains color and the dual modes, changes to USB 3.0, and increases speed to 99.6 fps. MV-CS020-10GC provides IMX430 Bayer RG 8 at 60 fps without the V5.0 dual-mode structure. Choose MV-CS020-61GC V5.0 for color, PoE and selectable sensor operation.

FAQ
What changes between high full well and high sensitivity modes?
High full well capacity mode uses 30 µs to 10 sec exposure and 0 dB to 12.8 dB gain. High sensitivity mode extends the short end to 5 µs and the gain ceiling to 24 dB, while retaining the same 1624 × 1240 sensor.
Which color format and speed does V5.0 provide over GigE?
MV-CS020-61GC V5.0 outputs 1624 × 1240 Bayer GR 8 at up to 60.7 fps. The 1/1.7-inch Stacked BSI sensor uses 4.5 µm pixels and a global shutter, with a stated dynamic range of 75.4 dB.
Can this V5.0 camera use a single PoE network connection?
Yes. Gigabit Ethernet supports PoE, and Fast Ethernet is also supported. A 9–24 V DC feed through the P7 port is the alternative power arrangement, with typical consumption of 1.6 W at 12 V DC.
What I/O is available for synchronizing a color capture?
The 6-pin P7 connector includes one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated I/O. These connections provide the physical signals for associating exposure with an external machine event.
How does the USB color V5.0 variant differ from the GigE model?
MV-CS020-61UC V5.0 keeps the same Stacked BSI sensor, Bayer GR 8 output, 1624 × 1240 resolution, 75.4 dB range and dual modes, but USB 3.0 raises the frame rate from 60.7 fps to 99.6 fps.
