Hikrobot MV-CS050-60GC V5.0

Dual-mode color camera positioning

High full well capacity and high sensitivity operation distinguish MV-CS050-60GC V5.0 within the 5 MP GigE set. Its 2/3-inch Stacked BSI global-shutter sensor outputs 2448 × 2048 Bayer GR 8 at 24.4 fps. The camera combines 73.9 dB dynamic range with separate exposure and gain ranges for the two modes, then transports images over 1000 Mbit/s Ethernet.

Color presence and assembly-state inspections can select the sensor mode to match the illumination condition. High full well capacity uses exposure from 45 µs to 10 sec and gain to 12.8 dB; high sensitivity starts at 5 µs and extends gain to 24 dB. A global shutter supports moving parts, and the isolated input and output lines allow capture and lighting to follow machine timing.

MV-CS050-60GC V2.0 provides the same resolution and Stacked BSI color output at 23 fps, without the two listed sensor modes, and consumes 2.5 W rather than 1.4 W at 12 VDC. MV-CS050-60GM V5.0 mirrors the V5.0 modes and 24.4 fps rate in Mono 8. MV-CS050-60UC V5.0 retains color and the dual modes while moving to USB 3.0 and 60 fps.

FAQ

Which sensor modes are available on MV-CS050-60GC V5.0?

The camera provides high full well capacity and high sensitivity operation. Both use the 2/3-inch Stacked BSI global-shutter sensor, with 2448 × 2048 Bayer GR 8 output at up to 24.4 fps.

How do the MV-CS050-60GC V5.0 exposure ranges differ by mode?

High full well capacity exposure spans 45 µs to 10 sec, while high sensitivity spans 5 µs to 10 sec. Their gain ceilings are 12.8 dB and 24 dB respectively, both beginning at 0 dB.

Can MV-CS050-60GC V5.0 use PoE on a 1000 Mbit/s link?

Yes. The camera supports PoE and also accepts 9 VDC to 24 VDC. Typical consumption is 1.4 W at 12 VDC. Ethernet runs at 1000 Mbit/s and can also connect at 100 Mbit/s.

What lens and enclosure details matter for MV-CS050-60GC V5.0?

The camera has a C-mount for a lens covering the 2/3-inch sensor. Its body is 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm and about 100 g. IP40 applies with correct lens installation and completed wiring.

Why select MV-CS050-60GC V5.0 instead of the V2.0 model?

V5.0 reaches 24.4 fps rather than 23 fps, lists two sensor operating modes and uses 1.4 W typically at 12 VDC rather than 2.5 W. Both provide 2448 × 2048 Stacked BSI color output over Gigabit Ethernet.
