Hikrobot MV-CS050-60UM V5.0

Dual-mode 60 fps mono capture

A dual-mode Stacked BSI sensor supplies 2448 × 2048 Mono 8 at 60 fps in MV-CS050-60UM V5.0. The 2/3-inch CMOS imager uses 3.45 µm pixels, a global shutter and 73.9 dB dynamic range. High full well capacity and high sensitivity settings extend the lighting choices, and USB 3.0 carries both image data and, when used for power, the camera supply.

Fast grayscale inspection can use high full well capacity for edge and dimensional work under stronger illumination or high sensitivity when more gain is needed. The respective exposure floors are 30 µs and 5 µs, and both extend to 10 sec. Global capture plus an opto-isolated trigger input supports moving parts, with a 29 mm × 29 mm × 30 mm housing for close placement.

MV-CS050-60UM V2.0 matches 60 fps and resolution but has one exposure range and uses 1.7 W typically at 5 VDC rather than 1.5 W. MV-CS050-60UC V5.0 changes the data to Bayer GR 8 color while retaining the dual modes and rate. MV-CS050-80UM V5.0 adopts an SS sensor and increases full-frame speed to 80 fps, with exposure starting at 15 µs.

FAQ

What frame format does MV-CS050-60UM V5.0 sustain at 60 fps?

It sustains a 2448 × 2048 Mono 8 frame. The 2/3-inch Stacked BSI CMOS imager has a global shutter, 3.45 µm × 3.45 µm pixels and 73.9 dB dynamic range.

How are the MV-CS050-60UM V5.0 operating modes configured?

High full well capacity spans 30 µs to 10 sec with gain from 0 dB to 12.8 dB. High sensitivity spans 5 µs to 10 sec and permits 0 dB to 24 dB gain on the Stacked BSI sensor.

What powers MV-CS050-60UM V5.0 during USB acquisition?

USB 3.0 power can supply the camera, whose typical consumption is 1.5 W at 5 VDC. The alternate input is 9 VDC to 24 VDC. USB 2.0 connection is also supported by the data interface.

What trigger resources are built into MV-CS050-60UM V5.0?

The 6-pin P7 port includes one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated I/O. These lines connect acquisition and auxiliary timing to the machine sequence.

How does MV-CS050-80UM V5.0 change the mono operating point?

The 80UM raises full-frame speed from 60 fps to 80 fps and replaces the Stacked BSI sensor with an SS sensor. It keeps 2448 × 2048 Mono 8, a 2/3-inch global shutter and USB 3.0.
