High-detail mono tasks and range position

Monochrome detail at 29.4 fps is the working point of the MV-CS120-10UM V5.0. A 12.2 MP Sony® IMX226 rolling-shutter CMOS sensor supplies 4024 × 3036 Mono 8 images through USB 3.0. The 1/1.7-inch format uses 1.85 µm pixels and provides 70.5 dB dynamic range. Exposure from 12 µs to 1 sec and gain from 0 dB to 24 dB allow the acquisition to be set for the available light and permitted object movement.

Fine edge measurement, small-feature detection and high-detail surface inspection can use the mono array without color interpolation. The 29.4 fps ceiling supports repeated observations where the rolling-shutter timing is compatible with the motion. USB 3.0 can carry both the image data and the 5 VDC supply; external 9 VDC to 24 VDC power and three I/O lines are available at the 6-pin P7 connector. The C-mount housing is 29 mm × 29 mm × 30 mm.

MV-CS120-10UC V5.0 keeps the same resolution and frame rate but records Bayer RG 8 color for hue-dependent decisions. MV-CS120-10GM V5.0 remains mono at 4024 × 3036 and exchanges USB for Gigabit Ethernet with PoE, reducing the maximum to 10 fps. MV-CS200-10UM moves to 5472 × 3648 mono sampling over USB 3.0 and reaches 19.2 fps, trading some sequence speed for a larger pixel array.
