Color GigE inspection with a 1/2-inch sensor
A 1/2-inch global-shutter CMOS sensor with 4.8 µm pixels gives MV-CU013-A0GC a larger optical format than the 1/2.7-inch 1.3 MP models. It produces 1280 × 1024 Bayer GB 8 color frames at 91.3 fps over Gigabit Ethernet. Exposure is adjustable from 10 µs to 10 sec, with 54 dB dynamic range and 0–16 dB gain.
Color discrimination, label-state checks and moving-part orientation are natural uses for this combination. The global shutter preserves frame geometry during motion, while the 10 µs lower exposure setting supports blur control when sufficient light is available. Optional PoE can combine network data and power, and the 6-pin P7 connector supplies isolated input and output paths plus one bidirectional non-isolated I/O.
MV-CU013-A0GM uses the same 1/2-inch format, 4.8 µm pitch and 91.3 fps but outputs Mono 8. MV-CU013-A0UC keeps the color and resolution while moving to USB 3.0 at 201.4 fps in a 30 mm-deep body. MV-CU013-80GC uses a smaller 1/2.7-inch sensor at 89.9 fps. Select MV-CU013-A0GC when color, GigE and the 1/2-inch optical format belong together.
