Compact IMX273 USB positioning
Sony® IMX273 capture at 249.1 fps gives MV-CS016-10UM a distinct place among the 1.6 MP cameras. The 1/2.9-inch CMOS sensor supplies 1440 × 1080 pixels at a 3.45 µm pitch and uses a global shutter. Images travel through USB 3.0 from a 29 mm × 29 mm × 30 mm housing. The combination is aimed at compact, host-side inspection where timing density and moving geometry are more important than a network camera layout.
The frame can support position, outline, count and presence algorithms on rapid parts, with 1440 × 1080 sampling available for smaller image features. Global exposure keeps moving shapes consistent across the frame. A 6-pin P7 connector provides one isolated input, one isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated line, and the camera accepts 9–24 V DC with typical consumption of 1.7 W.
MV-CS016-10UC has the same IMX273 resolution, 249.1 fps rate, USB 3.0 interface and body depth, and explicitly provides Bayer RG 8 color output. MV-CS016-11GM shifts the IMX273 to Gigabit Ethernet and PoE at 78.2 fps with Mono output. MV-CS016-10GM instead uses the IMX296 at 65.2 fps over Gigabit Ethernet and has two listed lens options.
