Small-format Stacked BSI color imaging
A 1/2.53-inch Stacked BSI sensor separates MV-CS020-60GC from the IMX430 and V5.0 branches of the 2 MP family. The color CMOS device uses 3.45 µm pixels, a global shutter and 1624 × 1240 Bayer GB 8 output at 60.3 fps. Gigabit Ethernet also supports Fast Ethernet. The smaller optical format provides the same image dimensions from a tighter pixel pitch.
The camera can evaluate color marks, assembly orientation, component presence and moving feature position across a 1624 × 1240 grid. Global exposure preserves geometry during motion, while 23 µs to 10 sec exposure covers brief production events and slower observations. PoE is available on the network path; the P7 connector also accepts 9–24 V DC and supplies isolated input, isolated output and bidirectional I/O for electrical timing.
MV-CS020-60GM is the matched Mono 8 version, keeping the 1/2.53-inch Stacked BSI sensor and 60.3 fps. MV-CS020-10GC uses a larger 1/1.7-inch IMX430 with 4.5 µm pixels and runs at 60 fps. MV-CS020-61GC V5.0 also uses a 1/1.7-inch Stacked BSI sensor, reaches 60.7 fps and adds high-full-well and high-sensitivity modes. Choose MV-CS020-60GC when Bayer GB 8 color and the smaller Stacked BSI format suit the optics.

FAQ
What distinguishes the MV-CS020-60GC sensor from MV-CS020-10GC?
MV-CS020-60GC uses a 1/2.53-inch Stacked BSI sensor with 3.45 µm pixels and 60.3 fps. MV-CS020-10GC uses a 1/1.7-inch Sony® IMX430 with 4.5 µm pixels and 60 fps. Both output 1624 × 1240 color.
Which Bayer pattern and frame rate are specified for MV-CS020-60GC?
The camera outputs Bayer GB 8 at 1624 × 1240 and reaches 60.3 fps. This differs from the Bayer RG 8 output of MV-CS020-10GC and the Bayer GR 8 output of MV-CS020-61GC V5.0.
How are network speed and camera power arranged for this model?
Gigabit Ethernet also supports Fast Ethernet. PoE can power the camera through that connection, or a 9–24 V DC supply can feed the 6-pin P7 port. Typical consumption is 1.9 W at 12 V DC.
What exposure interval is available for moving parts?
Exposure is adjustable from 23 µs to 10 sec. The global shutter exposes the frame together, so the shorter settings support motion capture when the illumination level is sufficient for the 3.45 µm pixels.
What enclosure and ambient limits apply around MV-CS020-60GC?
The C-mount body is 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm and approximately 100 g. It is IP40 with correct lens installation and wiring, and operates from –30 °C to 60 °C.
