Where the IMX265 model fits
Sony® IMX265 imaging at 2048 × 1536 and 38.1 fps sets the operating point of this compact CS model. The 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor uses a global shutter, and Gigabit Ethernet supports both 1000 Mbit/s and 100 Mbit/s links. A 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm housing and C-mount keep the optical and mechanical stack small for a network-connected inspection head.
The global shutter supports dimensional checks and feature localisation on indexed or continuously moving parts. A 6-pin P7 connection supplies one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated I/O, allowing acquisition to follow a machine event and signal its result. A network span can reach 100 m, while PoE removes the need for a separate local supply cable.
MV-CS032-10GC shares the IMX265, 2048 × 1536 resolution and 38.1 fps rate, and explicitly provides color output. MV-CS032-60GM retains the same resolution, changes to a Stacked BSI sensor and records Mono 8 at 38.6 fps. For more spatial sampling, MV-CS050-20GM V2.0 increases the frame to 2592 × 2048 with an OnSemi XGS5000, though its maximum rate is 22.7 fps.

FAQ
Which sensor and shutter arrangement are used in MV-CS032-10GM?
The camera uses a Sony® IMX265 CMOS sensor in 1/1.8-inch format with a global shutter. It records 2048 × 1536 pixels at up to 38.1 fps, placing simultaneous exposure across the frame at the centre of its motion-handling characteristics.
How far can the MV-CS032-10GM Ethernet link be extended?
The listed maximum transmission distance is 100 m. The data connection is Gigabit Ethernet at 1000 Mbit/s and is also compatible with Fast Ethernet at 100 Mbit/s, so host and switch selection should follow the required image throughput.
What are the power options for a remote MV-CS032-10GM installation?
MV-CS032-10GM accepts 9 VDC to 24 VDC and also supports PoE. Typical consumption is 2.2 W at 12 VDC. PoE is the direct way to carry data and camera power along the same Ethernet run.
Which control signals are available on the MV-CS032-10GM connector?
The 6-pin P7 connector provides one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated I/O. These lines support a hardware-triggered station and a return signal to associated machine controls.
What housing and ambient conditions suit MV-CS032-10GM?
The body measures 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm and weighs 100 g. Operation is specified from –30 °C to 60 °C and 20% RH to 95% RH. The listed enclosure protection rating is IP40.
